Peak demand

Baalderborg Groep is a care organisation based in Ommen that supports elderly people and individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. With growing pressure on care staff and rising administrative workloads, the organisation was looking for ways to relieve its employees without compromising on the quality of care. Voice-driven technology offered a promising route forward.

Implementing such a solution touches multiple layers at once: IT infrastructure, care workflows, staff habits, and integration with existing systems. That calls for a project lead who can bridge technology, organisational change, and people. And that capacity simply wasn't available internally when the project needed to get underway.

The challenge
Baalderborg Groep needed to integrate voice technology into existing care processes and systems, while simultaneously guiding care staff through a meaningful shift in how they work. This required specialist project management combining hands-on experience with digital care implementations and a strong grasp of change management.

Blackbear's role
Blackbear helped define the assignment in sharper terms and translated the need into a clear profile: a seasoned project manager with a proven track record in digital healthcare implementations and the people skills to drive adoption. A specialist was identified from the network who was available immediately and matched the specific context at Baalderborg. Throughout the engagement, Blackbear ensured the collaboration stayed on track and delivered as intended.

Result
Voice technology was successfully integrated into Baalderborg Groep's care processes within six months. Staff are actively using the system, workflows have measurably improved, and the project concluded with an evaluation report containing concrete recommendations for further optimisation.
