Achmea Investment Management manages investments for a broad group of institutional clients, offering a comprehensive range of services tailored to each client. Over time, the reporting and monitoring of those services had become scattered across separate files and documents, with no central structure to bring it all together.
The result was a situation familiar to many professional organisations: the information existed, but the overview did not. Alignment took time and errors were difficult to catch before they caused problems.
The challenge
Achmea Investment Management needed a central, structured solution to provide clear insight into service delivery, client relationships, fees and signals across approximately twenty clients. The existing approach of dispersed overviews no longer met the requirements for scalable, traceable reporting.
Blackbear's role
Blackbear helped translate the need into a concrete assignment with clear parameters: a seasoned Power BI specialist capable of independently turning a concept into a working solution. The assignment was shaped to fit the existing environment and to enable close collaboration with the in-house specialist. Throughout the engagement, Blackbear ensured there were clear agreements on feedback moments and progress, so execution remained structured and transparent.
Result
A fully functional Power BI dashboard was delivered, offering insight at both client and service level, complete with a traffic light status system and the ability to generate client-ready PDF reports directly from the dashboard. The prototype was tested against two clients with different service configurations and is set up for straightforward rollout to all remaining clients.
