AutoBinck Group is a leading player in the automotive sector, active in vehicle trading and related services. When the group decided to build a new digital remarketing platform for used cars, a complex technical question immediately came to the fore: what kind of foundation would match the organisation's ambitions?

A platform of this nature must not only function well today, but remain scalable over time, support multiple languages, and be maintainable without heavy operational dependencies. That combination of requirements makes the choice of technical architecture anything but straightforward.

The challenge

AutoBinck Group needed a well-considered technical architecture decision before development could begin. The platform had to be robust, secure, multilingual, and maintainable, and built on a stack accessible to developer talent available in the market.

Blackbear's role

The assignment was defined as a clearly scoped, outcome-driven engagement. An external specialist was selected with the capability to assess the technology landscape, translate business requirements into a concrete architecture proposal, and substantiate that proposal with a visual diagram and written justification. Blackbear identified the right match based on expertise in digital transformation, software implementation, and project management, and guided the process from initial alignment through to final presentation.

Result

The engagement produced a fully developed technical architecture document, including recommendations for CMS, static site generator, API structure, security measures, and localisation support. Supported by a visual architecture diagram and a structured review process, from alignment session to final delivery, AutoBinck Group now has a well-founded starting point for the next phase of platform development.
