Specialism

ESG

Toyota Material Handling Europe is the European arm of Toyota's material handling and intralogistics division. Operating across multiple European markets, TMHE places considerable importance on understanding the sustainability and ESG positioning of relevant organisations within its sector.

Systematically mapping those profiles demands more than a surface-level search. Sound ESG analysis requires source expertise, strong visual communication skills, and a consistent production rhythm, capacity that is not always readily available in-house.

The challenge

TMHE needed a series of clear, visually compelling one-pagers summarising the sustainability and ESG approach of specified companies, each grounded in reputable and up-to-date sources. The scope was a recurring engagement structured around defined milestones, with an agreed definition of done for every deliverable.

Blackbear's role

The brief was shaped into a well-defined fixed-price structure with milestone-based delivery and explicit quality criteria per document. Blackbear identified a specialist combining substantive ESG knowledge with a demonstrated ability to translate complex information into accessible visual formats. The contractual and operational framework was set up to allow TMHE to manage quality and progress without administrative overhead.

Result

Ten ESG profiles are being delivered through a structured milestone approach, beginning with a one-pager on Kingfisher. Each document pairs visual design with transparent source referencing, giving TMHE directly usable insight into the sustainability positioning of selected organisations.
