Tailored training and dashboarding

Johnson Controls is a global technology company focused on smart buildings, energy efficiency, and industrial automation. At its Dutch site in Echt, a growing need emerged for better access to data insights: staff had plenty of information available, but lacked the tools and skills to turn it into clear, actionable reporting.

With varying levels of existing knowledge across the workforce and multiple departments to serve at the same time, this was far from a straightforward training request.

The challenge
Johnson Controls needed a specialist who could both deliver training and develop functional dashboards tailored to the needs of different teams. The engagement had to combine on site sessions in Echt with online delivery, and training materials needed to be available in the appropriate languages.

Blackbear's role
Blackbear first helped define the assignment clearly: which skill levels were present, which departments had priority, and what kind of profile was needed to combine training and dashboard development in one role. Based on that scope, a professional was selected with proven experience in tailored training delivery and reporting solution development. Blackbear ensured the assignment was clearly structured so the specialist could start delivering value immediately.

Result
All agreed training sessions were delivered, both on site and online, and the specified dashboards were completed and put into use. Staff now have access to training materials in the required languages and work independently with the dashboards developed. The knowledge gained is directly applicable in day to day operations.
