A.Vogel is an international brand in natural health and phytotherapy with an established presence in Belgium. To strengthen its market position, the brand needed a clear and evidence-based view of how competitors were showing up on social media and what that meant for its own direction.

Social media moves fast and competitors adapt with it. Without structured insight into what resonates in the market, it becomes much harder to make confident decisions about content, tone and positioning.


The challenge
A.Vogel needed an objective analysis of its Belgian competitors’ social media presence to support its content strategy and campaign planning for 2026. The scope covered engagement metrics, content formats, UGC usage, influencer activity and advertising strategy.

Together with A.Vogel, Blackbear sharpened the scope of the assignment: which competitors to include, which platforms to assess and which parameters would generate the most actionable insights. Based on that scope, a specialist with proven experience in social media analysis and content benchmarking was engaged.
