Avetta QHSE certification achieved across nine countries

Toyota Material Handling Europe operates across dozens of countries through a broad network of dealers, service points and regional entities. In an organisation of that scale, maintaining consistent safety and quality standards across borders is already demanding. External certification adds another layer of complexity.

That was the case here. Avetta QHSE certification had to be completed in nine separate countries at the same time. Each country had its own local contacts, documentation status and starting point against Avetta requirements, while internal capacity to coordinate the work was not available.

The challenge
The assignment had to move forward in parallel across nine countries without disrupting day to day operations. That meant combining gap analysis, documentation and stakeholder alignment into one tightly managed process.

Blackbear's role
The scope was defined sharply before the work started. The specialist would focus only on Avetta certification, not on on site safety improvements or other certification tracks. Blackbear then engaged a professional with direct experience in multinational QHSE programmes and practical knowledge of the Avetta process. The work was delivered in two clear blocks, each with its own review moment before the next phase began.

Result
Certification was achieved in all nine countries. Alongside the certificates themselves, the project produced reusable checklists and reporting templates, giving Toyota Material Handling Europe a framework it can use again in future certification rounds.
